伦敦南岸大学创建于1892年，座落在英国伦敦市中心优美的泰晤士河畔。现有教职员工2,000人，在校生22,000人， 其中海外留学生3,000人, 来自120个国家。 学校位于伦敦市中心，离大笨钟仅一英里路程，步行五分钟即可到达滑铁卢火车站，十五分钟到牛津街。

Pride in Partnership: Celebrating Collaboration in Research and Health and Social Car

conference titled Celebrating Collaboration in Research and Health and Social Care took place on Friday 15 June at the Keyworth Centre at London South Bank University (LSBU). The aim of the conference was to promote the importance of working relationships in the research process. Key speakers identified and showcased case studies that showed how collaboration is a fundamental part of generating new ideas and making relevant links surrounding health and social care issues. The conference was attended by nearly 90 guests, including LSBU staff and representatives from various NHS trusts and Primary Care Trusts. The one day event consisted of a mixture of workshops and presentations which covered areas such as child focussed research and innovations in practice. The Keynote speaker at the event was Professor Christine Beasley, Chief Nursing Officer for England who gave a 30 minute presentation on the challenges and opportunities of Policy Partnerships. To finish off, a book launch was held for the recently published ‘Vital Notes: Promoting Health’ by author Jane Wills, a reader in Public Health and Health Promotion at LSBU.
