伦敦南岸大学历史名胜古迹研究小组取得第一个突破

Ten members of the new Faculty of Health and Social Care History Interest Group visited the Library at the Wellcome Trust on the 27th June 2007. This was the first event organised by the History Interest Group, and it proved to be a great success.

The archivists at the Wellcombe had prepared a number of things for the group to see, many of which are rarely on public display. These included items from London at the time of the Plague, as well as documents, pictures and images covering the spectrum of health and social care.

The timing of the visit also allowed for visits to the newly refurbished café and bookshop, as well as a tour of the new 'Collections' exhibition.

The History Interest Group have a number of events planned over the next year, including visits to The Royal Hospital, Chelsea and St John's Gate. If you want more information about the History Interest Group or its events, please contact Keiron Spires.
